About me

I'm from Võru, a small town in Estonia. My journey in film began with my BA at the Baltic Film and Media School in 2014, and I continued my education with an MA in the Kinoeyes program in 2018, which took me to Lisbon, Edinburgh.

In the film world, I have taken on two key roles: assistant director and editor. As an assistant director, I feel the excitement of film sets, and as an editor, I find a creative space where I can work on my craft.

In September 2022, my edited short film "Mia & Liki" won the title of Best Short Film in the Estonian Film and TV Awards (EFTA). I was honoured to be nominated for Best Editing Director, which also reaffirmed my dedication as an editor. In 2023, I had another wonderful opportunity to edit an experimental film called "Dear Passengers," which also claimed the title of Best Short Film the following year.

My latest project involves editing the work of directors Anna Hints and Tushar Prakash, their latest film, "Sauna Day" that premiered at Cannes this year during Critics' Week ("Semaine de la critique").
